The Two of UsKevin and I met in November 2000 although we didn't start dating until early 2001. He was a client of the company that I worked for at the time. He would come in to see us almost every day with new projects. Sometimes he would drop in with an armful of chocolate sundaes for everyone "just because". I realized later that he was mostly looking for reasons to come in to see me.
It took us a while to finally ask each other out on a date. I ended up asking him out and we've been together ever since and it has been amazing.
Kevin proposed in 2002 just before Christmas up at my parent's house. Kevin and I went out for a walk and he suggested that we walk down by the lake. As we stood beside the lake he took me totally off guard and proposed right then. Needless to say, I said "Yes".
BrideWe thought it would be easier if we did the write-up for each other instead of writing about ourselves. I [Kevin] am having a hard time providing the Coles notes on Sarah.
Sarah asked me not to go over the top. This means I should not get too cheesy and I should not write anything that will embarrass her. Here is a list of things I think you should know: Sarah is a great listener and is very genuine, she has a keen eye for detail, she is a very talented artist (fine arts degree from the University of Western Ontario), she is quiet and appears to be shy but isn't, she doesn't waste words and chooses her answers carefully, she is extremely sensitive and caring, and she is a vegetarian. She doesn't eat anything with a face.
To really get to know Sarah you will have to spend time with her. I am sure it will not take you long to figure out what an amazing person she is and why I asked her to be my wife.
Kevin makes me laugh. Even though the jokes are often at my expense, I can always count on him to make me and those around him laugh.
